Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info

California’s CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in other US states, give you the right to stop your personal information being ‘sold’ or ‘shared’ for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page explains how that applies to maptutors.com and how to exercise the right.
Background
What actually happens: no data is sold for money, but where advertising is served on maptutors.com, advertising partners may receive cookie or device identifiers. State privacy laws define ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ broadly enough that this may be caught, so we offer an opt-out rather than take a narrow view.
You do not have to be a subscriber for this to apply — it covers anyone reading what we publish on maptutors.com.
Once You Have Opted Out
Your choice stops advertising identifiers being shared. Ads may persist in an untargeted form. Everything else about reading maptutors.com stays the same; opting out carries no cost or reduction in service.
Making the Request
You can opt out by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which this site honours automatically without any message from you; by declining advertising cookies in the consent banner where it appears; or by emailing hello@maptutors.com under the subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. None of these routes requires you to register.
This is one right among several; the rest are in our State Privacy Notice.
